Brian R. Kopelowitz is a co-founder of the firm. Mr. Kopelowitz has a wealth of experience in both civil trial law and corporate transactions. He has tried numerous jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations in both Federal and State Courts, within Florida and throughout the United States . In addition to his vast experience handling catastrophic injury cases, Mr. Kopelowitz also focuses his practice in the areas of real estate litigation, general commercial litigation, healthcare and corporate transactions. He serves as the firm's chair of the real estate litigation department, wherein he oversees hundreds of active matters, including contested foreclosures, lender liability claims, title and title insurance disputes. Mr. Kopelowitz has had the pleasure of representing Fortune 500 Companies, including the nation's largest home builder and largest title insurance underwriter, national, regional and community banking and financial institutions, insurance underwriters and agencies, real estate developers, condominium and home owners' associations. He has negotiated and prepared the transactional documents for countless business transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, equipment leasing, financing, corporate formation, and stock sales. He is a member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Florida Justice Association. He graduated from The American University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Law School , where he graduated with honors.
